Hitch Clamp - Cross Clamp 2" Heavy Duty

The design looks simple and well made, just an idea to make it better as metal on metal will usually leave marks. Maybe put a protective coating on the U bolt and the crossbar, something like what is on Kryptonite locks to keep your receiver and hitch protected? Also I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I'm not sure if the bolt where the nuts go on would clear my bumper or have adequate space to tighten without hitting the bumper with a wrench. Would this work if you flipped it around and had the bolts on the bottom side? Either way your product looks like the best on the market, just trying to protect my receiver and my bumper.. Thanks for the great product!

These hitch cross clamps are beasts! I used two of them on a 6" Blue Ox drop/riser, and I now have total confidence the attached 500-lbs capable Torklift Lock & Load carrier will remain steady for years to come. I believe these Hitch Clamp cross clamps are the most secure method of attaching heavy hitch accessories.
